Organizing Your Alumni Reunion
The IH Foundation serves as a valuable resource for alumni reunion coordinators, helping to engage classmates and provide resources for a memorable event. Venues
- Utilize campus spaces, athletic facilities, and other available locations (all based on availability and district approval).
- Provide partners (IH alumni proprietors) willing to serve as host sites. Note: This is not a request for donations but an opportunity to highlight venues that support fellow alumni.
Marketing & Communication
- Assist promoting your reunion details through alumni newsletters, emails, and social media.
- Assist organizers in connecting with classmates.
- Provide templates for email communication, planning timelines, budgets, save-the-dates, invitations, etc.
Engagement & Programming
- Campus Tours & Activities: coordinate guided tours, faculty meet-and-greets, or special lectures.
- Keynote Speakers: assist with alumni or faculty to speak at the reunion.
- Memorabilia & Archives: provide access to yearbooks, photos, and historical archives for display.
Fundraising & Giving Opportunities
- Class Giving Campaigns: offer alumni opportunities to contribute to innovation grants, scholarships, programs, or campus initiatives as part of their reunion.
- Naming Opportunities: offer alumni the chance to fund or name a classroom, bench, or scholarship in honor of their graduating class.
