COVID-19 District Operations 2020-2021 School Year

Operations during COVID-19

Superintendent Kirk Koennecke
As the school year has evolved, so have our plans for delivering the excellent educational experience you expect and deserve - despite COVID-19. As such, we have created the following guide to our operations during COVID-19. We will continue to maintain three plans for our face-to-face learning: Plan A; Plan B; Plan C. In addition, we continue to offer our Brave Virtual Academy. Please see important updates below.
In service to our children,
Kirk Koennecke
Indian Hill School District
Overview for in-person learning models:
  • Plan A: Five days a week of in-person instruction
  • Plan B: Across the District, unique schedules have been developed per building based on parent and teacher feedback; below you will see a snapshot of the plan for each building, and the links will allow you to access complete summaries of the new Plan B model
  • Plan C: Online learning facilitated by assigned teachers if conditions warrant that a face-to-face setting is not safe

Do you have questions about the shift to Plan B?
We understand that this is a significant change from our original Plan B model. We have developed an FAQ about this update to help answer questions you may have.

Plan C Schedule
In Plan C, all students who were enrolled in the in-person model will report to school in a distance learning model five days per week. Students will not be assigned to Team 1 and Team 2. The same teachers will deliver distance instruction to students as they do in Plan A and Plan B.
