The Indian Hill School District tech department has put together some information and resources for parents who wish to better understand what may be available to them with regard to implementing online security practices for their children at home. Below are links that we have gathered that attempt to cover a variety of devices and network setups. These links provide information on some tools that may be available to you from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Spectrum and Alta Fiber (formerly Cincinnati Bell) are covered here. Many modern wifi routers also have built-in security tools that may be available to you. These options vary greatly depending on brand and model but above we have outlined two of the most common wifi router manufacturers, TP-Link and Netgear. If you have a different brand of router there is still a good chance that some form of security tools are available to you. Please check the manufacturer's website for more information.
