The Indian Hill School District welcomes all members of the Brave Family to attend a special Music Celebration event in memory of beloved Indian Hill High School teacher Jeff Clark from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at The Sue Harder Memorial Performing Arts Center (formally the Indian Hill High School Auditorium). All members of the Indian Hill School District continue to mourn the loss of the Indian Hill High School choir and theater director who passed away Tuesday, June 6 following a complicated surgery due to advanced stage four colon cancer.

“As a Brave Family, we continue to heal and that process is a journey,” said Indian Hill School District CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “The notion of journey was something key to the magic that Mr. Clark created for our performing arts students – that the important part of each production was about the journey they went on together.

“This Music Celebration is not a closing act – but part of a continuing story, a continuing journey. The impact Mr. Clark has had will be reflected on the faces of our students as they take center stage; they will continue to carry the light that started to shine within each of them as a result of his profound influence on their lives. His influence will live on.”

The beloved, award-winning educator brought to life some of the most memorable productions to grace the Indian Hill High School Auditorium since joining the district in 2016; Mr. Clark dedicated his life to serving students in education since 2001. During the August 12 Music Celebration, there will be performances and speakers sharing how Mr. Clark impacted their lives as students, colleagues, mentors, friends, and family.
