Indian Hill High School students compete at State HOSA Competition

HOSA State Finalists

The Indian Hill School District celebrates the four Indian Hill High School students who competed at the State HOSA Competition March 16-17 in Columbus. The state finalists included: Daniel Choi, Pathophysiology; Dylan Edwards, Nutrition; Sharon Fang, Biotechnology; and Ernesto Rodriguez-Cayro, Pharmacy Science. One student, Ernesto Rodriguez-Cayro, was named an International Finalist.

“We are incredibly proud of everything these outstanding Braves accomplished during this elite event,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “We look forward to seeing how they continue to advance their studies in the health profession.”

HOSA – Future Health Professionals, formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America, is an international career and technical student organization. According to the national website, HOSA is the only national student organization that exclusively serves secondary and postsecondary/collegiate students in pursuit of a career in the health professions.
