Indian Hill High School student earns Gold

Krish Ranjan with award

The Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School student Krish Ranjan for earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Gold Award. Ranjan was nominated for the prestigious honor by iSPACE in recognition of more than 100 volunteer hours he completed last year, focused on assisting other students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities.

β€œI am honored to receive this award in recognition of my volunteering efforts at nonprofit organizations like iSpace, as well as for outreach by our nonprofit initiative, STEM For Future, to organizations like Envision Children, and Inner City Youth Opportunities,” said Ranjan. β€œIt has made me realize how each one of us can make a difference in our community. It has also allowed me to share my passion for spreading STEM awareness among younger students who have less resources and opportunities to learn about it. I am very thankful to our school for encouraging service learning from very early on.”
