Indian Hill High School Class of 2023 dedicates a day to service

Senior Service Day

The Indian Hill High School Class of 2023 spent a day giving back.

The senior class volunteered Friday, October 28 at 10 Cincinnati-area nonprofit organizations. The locations included: Matthew 25: Ministries, Stepping Stones, the VA Hospital, Brewhaus Dog Bones, Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank, Seasons, Jack’s Closet, Cincinnati Nature Center, Dream Center, and CARE Closet.

“This day was not only one of service, but also one of solidarity for our seniors to join together and give back as a collective Brave family,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “It is true to who we are as a community of learners. Service learning is embedded within the curriculum at Indian Hill High School for all students.”

During their tenure at Indian Hill High School, students are required to complete 10 hours as freshmen, 10 hours as sophomores, 20 hours as juniors, and 20 hours as seniors.

“This was a day for our seniors to remember – to take with them – as they prepare to leave our campus and embark on the next stage of their lives,” said Damadeo. “I’m thankful we had the opportunity to help cultivate this opportunity both with and for them. It is part of what makes us uniquely Indian Hill.”
