Indian Hill High School students named finalists in prestigious Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Awards

Lillie Waltz and Franny Bell

The Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School (IHHS) finalists for the Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Awards Competition, junior Franny Bell and sophomore Lillie Waltz. Bell is a finalist for the Theatre category; Waltz is a finalist for the Creative Writing category.

“Overtures are a really great way to get honest feedback from experts in your artistic discipline,” shared Bell. “I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this competition and am looking forward to finals!”

“I am excited and honored to have been named a Finalist for the Overture Awards!” said Waltz. “Unfortunately, I will be unable to compete in the final competition because of a Europe tour for choir. However, I am looking forward to next year’s competition!”

Tickets for the Overtures Finale Event, which will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 at the Aronoff Center in the Jarson-Kaplan Theater, can be purchased online at: https://www.cincinnatiarts.org/events/detail/overture-2.
