Indian Hill High School Presents

This year it was Spamalot – and the goal was to get laughs. Last year, Les Miserables drew tears. Every year, the Indian Hill High School Winter Musical delivers a memorable experience for both those in the audience and the team of Braves who bring it to life.

"I am extremely proud of our students for their hard work in this performance of Spamalot!” said Show Director and Indian Hill School educator Jeff Clark. “The Monty Python style of comedy is a very unique endeavor for high school students, but they rose to the challenge and left us in stitches!”

Clark is a driving force behind-the-scenes working with colleagues Eric Cimini, Kendra Thomas, and Don Barker to pull together an elite production encompassing students on stage, in the crew, and within the orchestra pit. The team dedicates countless hours with students to create an unparalleled experience in the arts.

“Playing in the pit orchestra is an amazing opportunity for our students,” said Orchestra Director and Indian Hill High School educator Don Barker. “They have the chance to play in multiple styles and keys that they don’t typically get exposed to in a normal classroom setting. The progress from the first rehearsal to the last performance is always breathtaking!”

“Working in the pit orchestra of Spamalot was a thoroughly rewarding experience,” added Indian Hill High School student performer Audrey Phillips. “I was alongside great people, great music, and a great director. I will always treasure that experience.”

“This show was almost a dream-like experience to put on,” said Indian Hill High School student performer Hrishi Rawat. “On the surface this looked like a really easy show, but it was WAY harder than any of us expected. Closing night was amazing, from the audience waving their flashlights, to arguably the most fun I've ever had singing ‘Bright Side of Life’. There's no doubt though that closing night was sad, as it truly reminded me that Spamalot is the last show I will perform in Indian Hill.”

“It was the experience of being in a community surrounded by so much talent and passion for theatre that was the important part,” added Indian Hill High School student performer Kaia Woo. “The important part was the experience, and now, as a senior, it's hard because many of us in the cast don't know if we'll ever do live theatre again. The department is so talented and strong here at Indian Hill, and it will just never be the same anywhere else.”
