Indian Hill announces new Strength and Conditioning/ Director of Sports Performance and Athletic Mindset

The Indian Hill School District is excited to announce the selection of the District’s first fulltime Strength and Conditioning/ Director of Sports Performance and Athletic Mindset teammate! Logan Neff officially joins the Indian Hill Athletic Department on June 1.
 
“I'm blessed to be given this opportunity to start my journey as the new director of strength and conditioning at Indian Hill!” said Neff. “I cannot thank Brian Phelps and Julius King enough for this opportunity. I am eager to work alongside all of the coaches at Indian Hill to better our athletic department as a whole.”  

“This was a much sought after position,” said Indian Hill Athletic Director Brian Phelps. “We had 47 official applicants, and invited 17 in for interviews. Of the 17 in-person interviews, we invited three back for finalist interviews before selecting the best candidate. We are thrilled to have Logan as a member of our Brave Family!”

Neff’s athletic career began at Newport Central Catholic High School as a two-sport athlete. From there, he played football at Thomas More University and finished his bachelor’s degree at Northern Kentucky University in Kinesiology. Neff interned with Ignition APG, working with athletes from the professional level all the way down to the middle school level. He completed a professional internship position at the University of Cincinnati under the director of football sports performance. Neff was named the director of strength and conditioning for Beechwood High School where he was a part of three consecutive Class 2A State Titles in football and three consecutive 9th Region Championships in baseball. Neff recently completed his master's degree from University of the Cumberlands in education.

Neff will be fully integrated into his role in time for the summer athletic schedule.
