Indian Hill High School student selected from more than 100,000 as semifinalist in Coca-Cola Scholars Program

The Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School senior Arjun Verma for his elite selection as a Semifinalist in the 2023-2024 Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Verma was one of only 1,514 Semifinalists were chosen among 103,800+ applicants this year because of their outstanding leadership, academic achievements, and dedication to their community.

“This is an amazing accomplishment by an amazing Brave!” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “We are thrilled for Arjun, and we will be cheering him on as he advances to the next round of selection.”

Verma will continue through the process with the opportunity of becoming a Coca-Cola Scholar.
These students are required to complete a second application that includes additional information on school, community, volunteer, and employment activities; multiple written responses; a recommendation; a secondary school report; and a transcript.

According to the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation website, the Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. With the 35th class in 2023, the Foundation has provided over 6,750 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $81 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
