Indian Hill students perform on the OMEA All-State stage

OMEA All-State

The Indian Hill School District celebrates nine Indian Hill High School student-musicians who were selected to perform with the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) All-State Band, Choir, and Orchestra ensembles for 2024. The Braves took the stage in Columbus to perform as ensembles in three separate concerts, with orchestra and band performing on Friday, February 2 and choir as the final performance on Saturday, February 3.

“The difficult repertoire learned and performed by these musicians was executed effortlessly, and the concerts were standing room only!” said Indian Hill Arts and Activities Director Amy Clark. “This has been a long process to achieve this moment; each student applied in May of 2023 by sending in a recording of a solo piece from the OMEA solo and ensemble contest repertoire. These students were selected from thousands of submissions from high school students throughout the state. We are so proud!”
