Indian Hill School District announces Jeff Damadeo as the new Director of K-12 Leadership and Career Development

The Indian Hill School District is pleased to announce Jeff Damadeo will transition to the role of director of K-12 Leadership and Career Development for the 2024-2025 school year. Damadeo has served the district as the principal of Indian Hill High School since 2017. The District will immediately launch a national search for the next leader of Indian Hill High School.

“Leadership development is paramount to the learning of our students at all levels, and this position will provide the dedicated focus we need to create an unparalleled experience that is truly uniquely Indian Hill,” said Indian Hill CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “Over the coming months, we will be standing up a K-12 department of leadership and career development.”

Koennecke announced plans to open an entrepreneur center within Indian Hill High School for the 2024-2025 school year and a $1 million effort to support leadership over the next five years during the District’s live State of Schools presentation on January 18. As the Director of Leadership and Career Development, Damadeo will lead the work of the entrepreneur center and expand offerings K-12, to create a comprehensive, elite program, utilizing professional partnerships with 42 current businesses, and expanding the menu of learning opportunities.

“We are positioned to grow our already successful IH Experienceships program created within Indian Hill High School into an opportunity for all of our Braves – even as young as our Indian Hill Primary School students,” said Damadeo. “Our most important stakeholder in this new program is our students; we want to know what it is they dream to do, and then turn those dreams into reality through professional relationships we cultivate.”
