Indian Hill Foundation Honors Distinguished Alumni at Annual Awards Reception

IH Foundation Distinguished Alumni Award Winners

The Indian Hill Foundation proudly recognized three outstanding alumni at the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards Reception held on April 17 at Kenwood Country Club. This year’s honorees—Alexandra Trott (Class of 2008), Bobby Slattery (Class of 2000), and Cedric Michael Cox (Class of 1994)—were celebrated for their remarkable achievements, leadership, and lasting impact on their communities and professions.

Alexandra Trott received the Young Brave Award, which honors alumni under 40 who are making waves in their careers and communities. A thought leader at 84.51°, Trott is known for her expertise in shopper insights and data analytics. She founded the Natural Foods Summit at Kroger and was recently recognized with the 2024 Women of Excellence Award for Industry Impact.

Bobby Slattery was presented with the Brave Service Award in recognition of his deep commitment to community. As founder of Fifty West Brewing Company, Slattery has created a dynamic space for families and neighbors to connect. His civic leadership includes board service with Great Parks Forever, the Flying Pig Marathon, and the Ohio Craft Brewers Association.

Cedric Michael Cox received the Distinguished Alumni Award, the Foundation’s highest alumni honor. A celebrated visual artist, Cox’s vibrant works have been featured in galleries, museums, and public spaces across the country. His paintings and murals serve as powerful reflections of culture, color, and creativity, and he continues to inspire as an educator and community arts advocate.

“The accomplishments of these three individuals are extraordinary,” said Mike Wentz, Alumni Awards Chair. “Each one represents the very best of Indian Hill—talent, passion, service, and a commitment to making a difference. We are honored to recognize and celebrate them.”

The annual awards program is part of the Indian Hill Foundation’s commitment to honoring alumni who exemplify the district’s values and inspire future generations of Braves. The evening also featured remarks from current students and faculty highlighting the impact of donor-funded Foundation grants on innovative learning across the district.
