The Indian Hill School District proudly announces that Athletic Director Brian Phelps has been selected as one of five recipients of the prestigious Athletic Director of the Year Award by the Southwest Ohio Athletic Directors Association (SWOADA). This distinguished honor is presented to individuals who exemplify the highest standards of their profession and who, through their influence on young lives, have made significant contributions to their school and community.
“Winning the Southwest Ohio Athletic Directors Association Athletic Director of the Year award is a true honor,” said Phelps. “I'm incredibly thankful to my colleagues for this recognition — it means a great deal to be acknowledged for the work we do together. This award is really a reflection of our entire athletic department. I’m fortunate to work with an amazing team that supports me, our student-athletes, our coaches, our school, and the entire Indian Hill community.”
The award reflects Phelps’ ongoing commitment to excellence in athletics and education. Under his leadership, Indian Hill’s athletic programs have continued to thrive, both in competition and in building character among students.
“We are incredibly proud of Brian Phelps and the impact he makes every day,” said Indian Hill CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke. “This recognition is well deserved — Brian is a leader who embodies the values of integrity, teamwork, and student-focused excellence. He represents the very best of Indian Hill.”
Phelps will be recognized at the annual Southwest District Athletic Board (SWDAB) Administrators Breakfast, held at Wright State University’s Berry Room on Tuesday, April 22.
