The Indian Hill School District proudly announces that Indian Hill High School students Ardisha Thawrani and Grace Zhang have been nationally recognized by the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA) and InnerView in the Eighth Annual Community Service Impact Awards, including:
• Ambassador Award: Ardisha Thawrani
• Merit Award: Grace Zhang
• Ohio State Recognition: Ardisha Thawrani, Grace Zhang
• National Mental Health | Youth Advisory Council Member: Ardisha Thawrani
These prestigious awards celebrate student leaders across the United States who are making measurable progress toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The program is open to all U.S. high school students and highlights the impact of youth-led community service, skill development, and global citizenship.
“Our students are not only excelling academically, but they are also actively shaping a better world,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Andy Gruber. “To see Ardisha and Grace honored on a national stage for their service is incredibly inspiring and speaks to the values we aim to cultivate at Indian Hill High School. They are outstanding leaders of our Brave community.”
The program includes the Zero Hero Awards, presented by The Kroger Co., which recognizes students for initiatives aimed at reducing hunger and waste in their communities. Additionally, ServeOhio, the state’s commission on service and volunteerism, honors youth volunteers addressing pressing community needs.
