The Indian Hill School District welcomed former professional athlete Chris Singleton to campus, to lead the third event in a new Leadership Summit on The Hill series on Thursday, October 3. In addition to presenting his children’s book to Indian Hill Primary School and Indian Hill Elementary Schools students, the inspirational thought leader presented lessons on leadership to Indian Hill Middle School and Indian Hill High School students, joined by community members in the Sue Harder Memorial Performing Arts Center. The free event was hosted in partnership with Humanex and the Indian Hill PTO.
“This was truly a special leadership experience for all of our Braves at every building,” said Indian Hill School District Director of K-12 Leadership and Career Development Jeff Damadeo. “We appreciate Mr. Singleton creating such a memorable learning moment for so many of our students.”
Chris Singleton is a former professional athlete drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2017. Following the loss of his mother in a racially motivated mass shooting, Singleton has become an inspirational speaker and best-selling author who has shared his message of unity and racial reconciliation with NFL and NBA teams as well as multiple Fortune 500 companies across the country. He shares with over 100 organizations and over 50,000 students annually.

The Indian Hill School District began the Leadership Summit on The Hill series during the 2023-2024 school year;
Stephen M. R. Covey, New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal best-selling author, kicked off the series with Sgt. Maj. of the Army
Daniel A. Dailey, U.S. Army retired, who has served with the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Infantry Divisions stateside and overseas. Dailey was sworn in as the 15th sergeant major of the Army on Jan. 30, 2015.
