The Indian Hill School District is launching a new way for taxpayers to stay informed and engaged with the financial health of their school district. IH IR – Indian Hill Investor Relations is a new livestream event designed to provide the community with a clear, comprehensive look at district finances. Modeled after the investor relations calls used by publicly traded companies, IH IR will coincide with the district’s Five-Year Forecast updates and give taxpayers direct access to the information behind the numbers.

The first IH IR livestream will take place Wednesday, September 23, from 10-11 a.m.

During the hour-long program, Indian Hill Schools Treasurer/CFO Mick Davis will provide an in-depth overview of the district’s current financial position, including revenues, expenditures, financial trends, assumptions and factors influencing the Five-Year Forecast.

“Strong financial stewardship begins with transparency,” said Davis. “Our taxpayers are investors in Indian Hill Schools, and they deserve a clear understanding of our financial position, the factors shaping our forecast and how we are managing their investment. IH IR gives us another opportunity to put that information directly into the hands of our community and answer the questions that matter to them.”

Community members can submit questions in advance for Davis and Superintendent Dr. Melissa Stewart to address during the livestream.

“We want our community to understand not only where we are financially, but how our financial decisions connect to the educational experience we provide for students,” said Stewart. “IH IR is about opening that conversation even further. We want our taxpayers to have access to the facts, an opportunity to ask questions and confidence that we are planning thoughtfully for the future of Indian Hill Schools.”
