Indian Hill High School Tennis earns second at state
Indian Hill High School (IHHS) congratulates the Indian Hill Varsity Boys Tennis Team for earning second place in Division II Ohio Team Tennis for 2021. The team capped off a memorable season over Memorial Day weekend with a string of strong appearances leading to a spot in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) tennis final four, ultimately facing Orange High School for the state title.
“This season was so amazing, and I am extremely excited to see this young team continue to grow,” said Indian Hill Athletic Director Brian Phelps. “Thank you to seniors Jai Masturzo and Jasper Bennett for your leadership this year. You both have helped guide a young team to many more years of success on the tennis court.”
The Indian Hill High School state runner-up team included the following students: Senuka Abeysinghe, Jasper Bennett, Eshaan Gandhi, Jai Masturzo, Tejas Pisati, R.J. Poffenberger, Jack Pollock, and Sam Rhoad.
