Indian Hill High School celebrates Class of 2021
GraduationIndian Hill High School (IHHS) congratulates the 160 members of the Class of 2021 who celebrated graduation with a commencement ceremony Friday, May 28, at Tomahawk Stadium. The Indian Hill Board of Education, administrators, teachers, and staff members joined family and friends in recognizing the incredible accomplishments of the scholars.

“Braves, I ask that you take a moment and simply look around. Remember this moment, and remember how you feel. In a year that has created so much uncertainty, fear, and doubt, look how far we’ve come. Several months ago, the idea of us all being together here at Tomahawk Stadium, celebrating this extraordinary class of Braves was simply impossible. But the day is finally here, and as it should be, it’s a day where the Class of 2021 and their loved ones can be
together, look back at your time here at Indian Hill and truly celebrate,” said IHHS Principal Jeff Damadeo in his opening address to the students.

Indian Hill Superintendent of Schools Kirk Koennecke told the graduates that the teachers, families, and community stood in awe at all they accomplished despite the hardships of COVID-19, and he delivered the closing thoughts, “We will remember you as leaders. You are a shining example of student success during this unique chapter of your lives. Your story is already amazing, and as the authors of the chapters yet to be written as Indian Hill High School alumni, we look forward to seeing how your stories continue.

“As you prepare for the next chapter, there is one thing we want you to never forget: You are, and you always will be, Braves.”
