A Brave new vision for the New Year
IHPSAs we author the final chapter in the book of 2020, we reflect on how far we have come as a District: Ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 7 in the country according to Niche; ranked No. 5 in the state by U.S. News and World Report; a “Best Communities for Music Education” the past six consecutive years. World-class education – this is what we offer to our students – and this is what it means to be part of the Indian Hill School District family.

As we prepare to begin our story of 2021, we enter this New Year with a Brave vision for our future. Our dreams are not abstract – they have been eloquently articulated through a public, multi-year process involving countless volunteer hours from stakeholders to clearly define Building a Brave Future.

Our vision goes beyond maintaining our exceptional programs; our vision goes deeper than designing a new middle school that will provide our students with the same academic advantages of our neighbors. When I look into the eyes of our students, what I see reflecting back at me is the future. Future engineers; future doctors; future business leaders; future artists; future athletes. Each child comes to us with a dream. Our ultimate vision is to make these dreams come true.

We are ready for you, 2021. We have glimpsed what the future can be, and we are excited.

In service to our children,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
