May 26, 2021 COVID-19 Operations Update
IH LogoDear Indian Hill School District Families:

We want to begin with a sincere message of appreciation to our students, parents and guardians, and staff members for your support, flexibility, and patience as we have navigated this unprecedented school year. This has been a school year spent dedicated to keeping our Braves safe. As a District, we endeavored to share important public health information, maintain a safe and secure in-person learning environment, and to host vaccine clinics for our students and staff.

We have some significant updates to share with you regarding our operations.

Beginning May 28, the Indian Hill School District will modify its mask policy and no longer require mask wearing on campus for daily outdoor activities. We will continue the practice of not requiring masks for students during approved indoor activities, sports, or performances. Additionally, masks will no longer be required for staff and visitors who are fully vaccinated during these same activities. We will operate on an honor system.

June 3 all Indian Hill School District indoor and outdoor venues will revert back to full capacity following Ohio’s rescinded COVID-19 health orders in effect June 2.

Any person who feels ill is expected to refrain from visiting campus.

We will continue to communicate any necessary updates to you as needed. We hope you enjoy a summer of rest and relaxation, and we look forward to serving you the upcoming 2021-2022 school year.

In service to our children,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
Indian Hill School District
