Indian Hill High School students named Semifinalists in the prestigious Coca-Cola Scholars Program
IHHS Coca-Cola Scholar SemifinalistsThe Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School seniors Joseph Kayne, Kunal Ranjan, and Pranav Rastogi for being named Semifinalists for the 2023 class of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program, moving to the next round of the selection process to become a Coca-Cola Scholar and receive a $20,000 college scholarship. The three IHHS seniors were selected from a pool of over 91,000 applicants from across the country based on their academic excellence, leadership, and service demonstrated in school and community activities.

“I am extremely excited to be connected with like-minded leaders and philanthropists across the country,” said Joseph Kayne. “Being recognized as a semifinalist is truly an honor.”

“I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to seeing how this recognition can help propel me to pursue my future plans and dreams,” added Kunal Ranjan.

“I am honored to even be considered at this point in this competition,” said Pranav Rastogi. “The Coca-Cola Scholarship is a prestigious recognition of other students who share common goals of leadership, service, and impact.”

A joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across the country and The Coca-Cola Company, the Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States. With the addition of the 2023 class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 6,750 Coke Scholars nationwide with over $81 million in scholarships over the course of 35 years. Currently, 1,557 high school seniors are in the running for 150 college scholarships worth $20,000.

“We are incredibly proud of these amazing students earning this much-deserved recognition,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “This level of achievement is a testament to not only the academic performance of these students, but also a testament to who they are as individuals. This is a moment to celebrate.”
