EXCELLENCE MATTERS: Meet Emily Greulich
Excellence Matters
By Indian Hill CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke

Emily Greulich is an incredible EduHERO.

She leads one of our amazing partner organizations as president of the Indian Hill PTO, and she has been volunteering in a myriad of roles since her children first started at Indian Hill Primary School. We sincerely appreciate all she has done to help our district.

Excellence matters to the Indian Hill PTO. During the 2022-2023 school year, IH PTO supported all IH schools with financial support totaling $171,942 and contributed substantial donations in materials. The PTO sponsored and volunteered at over 80 events during the school year.

It is my pleasure to introduce to you the 2023-2024 Indian Hill PTO president, Emily Greulich:

Meet Emily Greulich
Indian Hill PTO President

Our family moved to the Indian Hill School District eight years ago when our oldest son was starting kindergarten. Since then, all three of our sons have entered the district with one currently at Indian Hill Middle School and two at Indian Hill Elementary School. We chose Indian Hill School District because we wanted a small school district that offered strong academics and excellent opportunities for our children.

Being a Brave means working hard and collaborating with other district parents, teachers, and staff members to provide our students with the best learning enrichment opportunities, family-friendly activities, and celebrations throughout the year. Getting to work with so many new people is very rewarding, and I have built many lasting friendships as a result of my time spent with the PTO.

To me, the #IHPromise means that the district will go above and beyond to make sure that our students get every resource and opportunity needed to help them succeed as they prepare for college and beyond. It’s important that our students feel comfortable asking for help and that the district staff and teachers, support organizations, and/or parents are there to lend a hand when needed and can provide our students with any resources needed. The Indian Hill PTO is honored to help lead the way in fulfilling this #IHPromise.

I became involved with the PTO when my children were at Indian Hill Primary School because of the many opportunities to volunteer inside the schools and at school events. In my time with the PTO, I have had the pleasure of volunteering at and chairing events, being the Primary School Program Chair and Director and the Capital Grants Chair. All these roles prepared me for becoming the President this year and I feel honored to lead this organization. The PTO offers so much to our students and community. Our organization provides financial funding, learning enrichment, organizes volunteers, and plans many amazing events throughout the school year. Some of those events include Field Trips, Party in the Middle, Teacher and Staff Appreciation and Welcome Back Luncheons, After Prom, Bus Driver Appreciation, Holiday Market, Trunk or Treat, and so many more.
