The decision has been made to update our quarantine guidelines related to students and staff members who are considered COVID-19 Close Contacts. Effective immediately, we will begin to use the following guidelines, which are aligned with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) updates we implemented at the start of January:

If your student is a Close Contact and was wearing a mask when the contact took place, their quarantine is:

• Classroom – Zero days
• Activities – 7 days (return on day 8) with a negative COVID test result that is administered no sooner than day 5; if not tested, then 10 days

If your student is a Close Contact and was not wearing a mask when the contact took place, their quarantine is:

• Classroom – 7 days (return on day 8) with a negative COVID test result that is administered no sooner than day 5; if not tested, then 10 days
• Activities – 14 days

Additionally, we want you to know this will be explained to you if you are contacted by the District within our contact tracing procedures.

As always, we appreciate your partnership as we navigate these unprecedented times.
