The Indian Hill School District would not be able to Build a Brave Future without the input of hundreds of stakeholders over a three-year public process to assess our facilities. Now, in response to the passage of the May 4, 2021 combined operating/bond levy by the Indian Hill School District community, our District is moving forward with plans to address the serious and substantial facilities issues we have faced for years. An integral part of continuing this important work is our Brave Future Focus Group. This diverse committee of parents and community leaders was created to provide an outlet for stakeholders to provide critical feedback at intervals throughout the building process.
Meeting bi-weekly to review important updates, the Brave Future Focus Group has assisted our team on planning for transition and design research – all important work to ensure our construction process is aligned with what our community expects and deserves. The group was charged with providing feedback to the project team on the overall design themes, logistics during this phase of the project, and the pacing of communications. Team members have also taken design research field trips to study regional building projects. To date, the group has visited: Mariemont High School, Southwest Local Schools, Reading City Schools, Fairfield City Schools, and Sycamore City Schools.
We want to thank these dedicated volunteers who continue to give of their own time to help our District during this historic transition. Additionally, we want to welcome you to visit our new website resource BUILDING A BRAVE FUTURE
which is dedicated to sharing our Indian Hill School District Transition Plans. Please review our FAQ, that includes a breakdown of the work that will happen at each of our facilities. You can access this website resource within the Indian Hill School District website “About” section at: https://www.indianhillschools.org/BuildingaBraveFutureIndianHillFacilitiesTransitionResource.aspx
As always, thank you for your continued support of our mission. We are excited about what the future holds for generations of Braves!
In service to our children,
Indian Hill School District
