Indian Hill High School student-artists earn 25 Scholastic Art Awards

IHHS Gold Key Winners

The Indian Hill School District celebrates the 25 individual accolades awarded to Indian Hill High School student-artists in the 2023 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. Two students, Jenna O’Driscoll and Belinda Zhong, will advance to the national competition in New York City.

“Each year, we encourage our students to showcase their writing and visual art skills in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition,” said Indian Hill High School art teacher Julie Pfeiffer. “We are all incredibly proud that our students were honored with 25 individual awards!”

With Pfeiffer, Indian Hill High School Art Specialists Kim Richardson and Adam Wolter submitted 66 individual works of art in the categories of photography, digital art, painting, sculpture, and drawing. Out of more than 600 participating schools, Indian Hill High School students received two Gold Key awards, 11 Silver Key awards, and 12 Honorable Mentions. All of the artworks will be on display at the Cincinnati Art Academy from February 6 through February 17. Results of the national competition will be announced in March.
