Indian Hill High School students earn recognition for service

IHHS Service Awards

The Indian Hill School District congratulates Indian Hill High School students Eshaan Gandhi and Joseph Kayne, who both earned Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. Additionally, the District congratulates Indian Hill High School students Ellie Jutze and Avery Valz, who both earned Leadership Initiative Global Fundraising Awards from Leadership Initiatives, a non-profit organization.

“Dedication to service is an integral part of the Indian Hill High School experience, and we salute Eshaan, Joseph, Ellie, and Avery for taking their service to such an elite level of recognition,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “We are incredibly proud of all they have done.”

Presidential Volunteer Service Awards
Gandhi was recognized for helping patients at Bethesda North and developing musical programs for underserved communities. Kayne was recognized for volunteering approximately 180 hours over a period of 12 months at various organizations, including the City of Cincinnati’s Citizens Complaint Board, the Cincinnati Academy of Performing Arts, and St. Francis Seraph Ministries Soup Kitchen.

Leadership Initiative Global Fundraising Awards
Jutze and Valz were nominated for the award for their profound impact on the community of Bauchi, Nigeria. Over the course of nine months, the students raised $1,188 to provide for educational opportunities through Leadership Initiatives.
