Indian Hill Class of 2022: A Promise to be Brave

CEO/Superintendent Kirk Koennecke

Indian Hill High School Class of 2022:

At Indian Hill, our IH Promise is important. It is our vision. It is even our hashtag with every photo we post across our social media platforms celebrating all of your incredible accolades in academics, arts, and athletics.

When you consider what a promise really is – it is a thing of power.

A promise is a declaration.

A promise is an assurance.

At the Indian Hill School District, our IH Promise is both the declaration and assurance that we will keep you, our students, at the center of every decision we make. We promise this, because you matter. Your dreams are important. Your ambitions will help shape the future of our world.

I want to thank you, Class of 2022.

I want to thank you for being a model of future leadership.

Our history teaches us of the greatest generations of the past, who triumphed in times of adversity.

If history is any indication of the future, then I can’t wait to see how this class leaves their mark.

Through three years of trials and tribulations, you remained – here, in person, learning.

Through countless changes and disruptions that affected your family, your friends, your world, you were steadfast.

Through stress and strain and stops and starts, you kept moving forward.

Through it all, you were Brave.

Class of 2022, you will lead us into the future knowing nothing can hold you back.

The lessons of yesterday and today will fuel all your unique successes within your lifetime.

At this, your graduation, I want you to make a promise – right here, right now – to yourself.

I want you to promise yourself that you will go boldly into that future.

I want you to promise yourself that you will pursue your dreams.

I want you to promise yourself that you will forever be Brave.

Congratulations, Class of 2022. We are so proud of you!
