The Indian Hill School District congratulates and celebrates Indian Hill High School student Ardisha Thawrani for her selection as one of 17 students nationally to be a 2025 Youth Advisory Council member for the national nonprofit organization Creative Visions. As part of her selection, Thawrani will lead mental health awareness engagement activities and a collaborative mental health project in the Cincinnati community.
“We are thrilled at Ardisha’s selection for the elite leadership opportunity,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Andy Gruber. “This is a true celebration of Ardisha’s accomplishments as a standout storyteller, and we are excited to see all she will author in this new role!”
According to Creative Visions, the formation of its 2025 Mental Health Youth Advisory Council was in part recognizing the urgent mental health crisis impacting young people. This diverse group of young leaders will play a central role in guiding the #CreateConnectCare campaign, an initiative designed to leverage the power of creative expression to promote mental health awareness and support among youth. The council will be crucial in shaping the campaign's direction, ensuring its relevance and resonance with their peers. By leveraging diverse creative mediums such as art, music, writing, and filmmaking, the #CreateConnectCare campaign aims to:
Raise awareness of mental health challenges
Reduce stigma surrounding mental health
Build connections and foster a sense of community
Promote self-care and encourage support for others
“We are incredibly excited to welcome these talented and passionate young leaders to the #CreateConnectCare team,” said Pat Chandler, CEO of Creative Visions. “Their unique perspectives and lived experiences will be invaluable in shaping a campaign that authentically connects with youth and drives meaningful change.”
