Indian Hill to remain in Plan A following the Thanksgiving break
IH LogoIn response to feedback from both Indian Hill School District families and staff members, the Indian Hill Board of Education called a meeting for today (November 20, 2020) at 4 p.m. to discuss the District’s return plan following the Thanksgiving holiday.

Per the Board’s review of the most recent COVID-19 data, the decision was made to continue operations within Plan A on return from the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, November 30.

Additionally, winter sports will commence as planned.

We believe the option for five-day-a-week, face-to-face instruction is important for our students, and we have made a significant investment in safety to ensure all Braves – students and staff – can feel secure when on campus. We ask for your continued partnership both during and after the break. Our travel advisory quarantine expectations continue. Any students or staff members who travel during the Thanksgiving break to or through affected states or countries must quarantine for 14 days prior to a return to campus. We are urging families to please follow all state and local guidelines for gatherings during the Thanksgiving break. Please remain vigilant and practice the safety protocols we have in place on return.

Please note: While we do not anticipate issuing any additional communications regarding plan shifts, the District will continue to provide you information on any positive COVID-19 cases that impact our campus during the week of Thanksgiving. If you find out you are COVID-19 positive during the break, please call our COVID-19 Hotline to report your case at (513) 272-9698.

We wish you a safe Thanksgiving holiday with your family.

In service to our children,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
Indian Hill School District
