A place to call home

Superintendent Kirk Koennecke with IHPS students

Home.

It is the place where we are encouraged to think, to question, to grow; it is the place where our individual talents and interests are known; it is the place where the beauty of our diversity is embraced.

If this sounds familiar, it should. This is the Indian Hill Promise. What we strive to create for our 2,467 students and staff members is a place where they feel the essence of what it means to be a part of a family.

Perhaps we have never needed to feel loved more.

As we prepare to enter a season of giving thanks, I want to take this opportunity to share with you my gratitude for being a Brave. I want to thank you for supporting our mission of providing exceptional educational services even during a global pandemic. I want to thank you for your patience as we have navigated a process that has been invented in real time to manage COVID-19. Mostly, I want to thank you for allowing us to be a part of your community in one of the most unique ways – as a partner in the growth and development of our students.

Let us join hearts to celebrate what it means to be Brave … and, to be home.

In service to our children,

Kirk Koennecke
Superintendent
Indian Hill School District
