Indian Hill faculty members present technology best practices at state conference

Indian Hill OETC Presentation

It was a state conference built for teaching and learning technology best practice, and Indian Hill School District innovators took a place on the stage as presenters for the Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC) in Columbus.

“At Indian Hill we pride ourselves on being current and well informed on best practices in education,” said Indian Hill Director of Technology Mark Richardson. “Teaching and learning tools are always changing and attending and presenting at OETC gives us the opportunity to share our learning with other school districts as well as learn from other experts in the field.”

Richardson – who was selected to participate as part of a panel of technology experts for a discussion on technology blind spots – was also joined by Innovation Coaches Jackie O’Brien, Jen Anders, Ashley Morrison, and Lauren Richardson in presenting a number of sessions at OETC. The team tackled subjects that included quick and easy tools for teachers and learners, and tools to increase global perspective.

“Our innovation coaches are such valuable members of our teaching and learning team,” said Richardson. “Seeing them meet the learning needs of teachers from across the state was very rewarding.”
