PARENT INVITATION: A Wired Family

A Wired Family

The Indian Hill School District in partnership with the Indian Hill PTO invites all parents to attend A Wired Family, a special presentation on technology and student health, 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, in the Indian Hill High School Auditorium. This powerful program has been presented to over 500,000 students and adults. It covers the basics concerning the evolution of the mobile and broadband world as it relates to student communication, including: inappropriate online behavior, and bullying and its impact on mental health. The presentation, delivered by A Wired Family President Stephen Smith, will cover the causes, the technology, and how students can help control these trends.

“This opportunity is so timely as we discover more and more about the link between technology and the brain health and wellness of children and teens,” said Indian Hill Director of Pupil Services Erica Leppert. “It is important for parents to take an active role in understanding both the value and the challenges of technology within the frameworks of family, peers, and school in order to keep their children safe, healthy, and happy.”

Please note: This presentation has been designed for adults only.
