Indian Hill High School welcomes new assistant principal to the Brave team

The Indian Hill School District welcomes Andrew Renner to the administrative team as the new Indian Hill High School assistant principal. Renner comes from Wyoming City Schools where he has served as the assistant principal of Wyoming Middle School since 2018.

“Andrew Renner is a proven educational leader focused on innovation, and we are excited to see both the energy and new ideas he will bring to Indian Hill High School,” said Indian Hill High School Principal Jeff Damadeo. “We welcome him to our Brave team!”

At Wyoming, Renner led initiatives to incorporate culturally competent practices that embraced equity into the student code of conduct; created a process to streamline parent and student communication for assignments during remote learning; and, coordinated professional development for staff in the adoption of best educational practices in learning technology.
Before joining the administrative team at Wyoming, Renner served students as the assistant principal at Gilbert A. Dater High School, part of Cincinnati Public Schools (2018); he was a teacher in Mason City Schools (2014-2018); a gifted interventional specialist for Finneytown Local Schools (2013-2014); and, he worked as a teacher for the Oak Hills Local School District (2010-2013).

I look forward to contributing to the positive things already happening, and I am grateful to be a Brave!"
Renner earned his Master of Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati, his Master of Education degree from Xavier University, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University.
 
Renner replaces Mike Hayes who is leaving Indian Hill to become the head principal of Aurora High School.
