Indian Hill High School junior earns first place finish in Ohio Junior Classical League State Convention

Indian Hill High School (IHHS) salutes junior Olivia Sheldon who won the Overall Sweepstakes Prize at the Ohio Junior Classical League State Convention for the second year in a row. The Indian Hill Board of Education officially recognized Sheldon’s accomplishments during the April 16 meeting. The Sweepstakes Prize is awarded to the student who won the most points across all contests: Graphic Arts, Creative Arts, Academic Tests, Certamen, and Pre-Convention.

“We are incredibly proud of Olivia and all of our Braves who participated at state,” said IHHS Latin teacher Melissa Burgess. “Our Indian Hill students earned third place overall, and brought home 133 total awards with 71 top-five finishes.”
