An EPIC night of literacy!

IHPS Literacy Night

It was an EPIC night of learning at Indian Hill Primary School (IHPS) when more than 300 Braves celebrated the second-annual IHPS Literacy Night Thursday, October 3. Throughout the classrooms, gym, and cafeteria, teachers and staff members set up learning stations for families with one goal – creating an EPIC experience!

“Our goal was to engage families in the awesomeness of reading,” said Indian Hill Primary School Principal Jim Nichols. “In fact, we titled the night EPIC Reading! We wanted to create an evening where families could have fun together while reading and choosing from a variety of literacy based interactions. Every child – including siblings – left with a book and a smile.”

IHPS is already planning for a second-annual science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) night in February.
